CARLIJN VAN VLIET (1976)

Carlijn is an international actress and filmmaker fluent in five languages, including English, French, and Dutch. Known for her authentic, fully committed performances, she brings both emotional truth and strong work ethic to every role.

In addition to her acting work, including three seasons in the Dutch series Brugklas, she writes and creates her own films, with her short Teeth (2024) earning a nomination at the IFFH.

She is the founder of Fierce Women in Film, a platform dedicated to empowering and increasing visibility for women in the industry.
